We often interchangeable use the terms natural and organic. But do natural and organic mean the same? NO. ðŸ’
So while purchasing a product next time please check the ingredients/ label carefully!
🌿Natural - Almost everything that comes from nature. No use of synthetic/ artificial dyes, oils and fragrances. Being natural is not an indicator that shows that the product wasn’t sprayed with pesticides when the plant was growing; the fertilisers may not be natural and the source may or may not be from an ethically raised farm.
🌿Organic - Strictly regulated term/ process where the operations must demonstrate of protecting natural resources, conserving biodiversity & using only approved substances. The ingredients go through a series of tests which includes the soil used (shouldn’t have pesticides), the water ( not treated with chemical) etc. Organic products need to be certified by USDA or any other regulatory body.
